car alarm led dash light will not stop blinking?

and my car will not ignite. it turns over so i know its not battery has to be alarm. i think paint people pushed the buttons and its in some kind of wierd mode. is there a way to disengage alarm so that i can start my car. maybe a reset or something of that nature. my car has been at paint shop gettin a scratch touch up and who knows how many times they have pushed alarm keychain buttons. could it be valet mode, if yes what is that and how to i fix. thanks in advance, respectfully
my dad had alarm installed and he is on vacation and will not be to talk to him for the next week. i have no idea where it was installed or do i have the manuel. talking about being a daddy'd girl, but i need some suggestions on fixing please...
