Do you have any idea how much it would cost? Please don't tell me " it depends". I know it depends on the artist and all, but I really need a rough estimate. By the way, the artist is going to be the same one who did the first tattoo. He charged $150 for it, and it took 3 hours.
Oh and he is REALLY interested in doing it if this if of any importance. He said it is going to be a big project for him.

As a tattoo artist myself i can tell you that the work involved in this project is immense. You will NOT get the same detail in the tattoo that is present in the painting unless, 1. you know an excellent tattooist (not the artist that is responsible for the first tattoo). 2. you will have to invest time for several sittings. and 3.prepare to part with some serious money, if I was asked to ink this as a half sleeve I would charge around £800. "A great tattoo isn't cheap and a cheap tattoo isn't great".
